This curriculum is designed to meet the admissions requirements of the School of Health-Related Professions at the University of Mississippi Medical Center. All programs at the Medical Center are upper division. Students must complete all admission requirements before transferring. All programs at the University Medical Center have a limited class size with competitive admissions. Students must have a minimum 3.0 GPA on 4.0 scale. A minimum grade of C is required on each course accepted for transfer. Students applying for the Doctor of Physical Therapy must have a bachelor's degree and evidence of 40 hours of observation in at least two physical therapy clinical departments or practices. Students must also take the GRE before applying to the program. Students must also complete an autobiographical essay and a resume to apply to the program. The curriculum below leads to an Associate of Arts Degree.
