Green elected to national nursing board

Holmes Community College nursing student Bianca Green was recently elected to the National Student Nurses' Association (NSNA) Board of Directors for the 2012-2013 academic year. Green is the first Mississippi student to serve on the board for over 10 years. Read more

Nursing program grads excel on NCLEX

The graduates of the 2011-12 Holmes Community College Practical Nursing Program passed the National Council Licensure Examination with flying colors, achieving an overall pass rate of 96 percent with the Ridgeland Campus having 100 percent; Grenada, 96 percent; and Goodman, 94 percent. Read more

Blackboard Collaborate taps Holmes CC for HOF

Holmes Community College was inducted into the Blackboard CollaborateHall of Fame for Excellence in Collaboration's Class of 2012, which recognizes educators who have shown exemplary innovation and creativity in their use of the Blackboard Collaborate platform. Read more

Graduation rates soar in 2012

Graduation numbers for the Holmes Community College Class of 2012, showed dramatic gains over last year with an astonishing 35.41 percent increase, leading the State's community college system in percentage of gain. Read more
