CNC Programming
Introduces the student to the programming codes and principles commonly used to manufacture parts on automated machine tools. The topics covered are defining CNC machine components and their functions, defining the difference between absolute and incremental coordinate systems, applying G codes & M codes along with other complimentary codes to create basic 2 axis CNC programs, & using CAM software to create and verify CNC programs. These topics will be taught through a combination of instructor lectures, demonstrations, and student lab assignments.
