Office of Financial Aid
The Office of Financial Aid administers a variety of programs to assist in meeting the financial needs to attend college. The department assists students with Federal and State financial aid programs, student loans, state scholarships, and Federal Work-Study. Applications and explanations of the aid available can be found here. We encourage you to stop by one of our locations in Goodman, Grenada, or Ridgeland or email our staff with questions.
Scheduled payments for financial aid are generally listed next to your awards in your Doghouse. Pell and Loan payments are not usually credited to a student’s account until after institutional aid has been paid to your account.
Spring Book Vouchers will be open from Monday January 5 through Friday February 6, 2014. All financial aid must be cleared and showing on your account by Friday January 30 to be assured of a book voucher.
Spring Loan Entrance Workshops will be in February. The campus schedules are listed below and more information will be available in the student portal. This is for first-time borrowers with Holmes Community College.
Goodman Campus - Trek Center - Room 21 McDaniel Hall: February 18, 25, and 27 at 10:00 am, 1:30 pm and 5:30 pm
Grenada Campus - Keeton Room, ITC Building: February 17 and 24 at 10:00 am, 1:30 pm and 5:30 pm
Ridgeland Campus - CCN Room - Adcock Library: February 19 and 26 at 10:00 am, 1:30 pm and 5:30 pm
