Associate Degree Nursing - Generic Evening/Weekend Track

The Associate Degree Nursing Program offers a curriculum for those seeking an ADN degree and to qualify to take the National Council Licensure Examination for Registered Nurses (NCLEX) as well as licensing from the Mississippi State Board of Nursing. Enrollment in NUR courses is limited to students who have been admitted into the ADN program. For further information please see the current District Bulletin.

The Associate Degree Evening/Weekend Nursing Program at Holmes Community College is located in Grenada and Ridgeland. The program starts in the Spring semester.

The student must complete and pass with a C or higher the following courses as prerequisites for admission into the program: BIO 2514 Anatomy & Physiology I, BIO 2524 Anatomy & Physiology II, BIO 2924 Microbiology, BIO 1613, or FCS 1253 Nutrition.
Enrollment in a minimum of 15 hours each semester is recommended for eligibility for state aid, institutional scholarships, and the tuition break.
