FBLA-Collegiate (Ridgeland Campus)

Future Business Leaders of America is organized to promote business leadership and to create interest and understanding in the intelligent choice of business occupations. Membership is open to all Ridgeland campus students enrolled as a business major (academic or technical), computer networking major, computer programming major, or taking one or more business-related courses such as business law, accounting, economics, computer, etc.

In today’s highly competitive business environment, it takes more than just a business degree to succeed – it requires business savvy, leadership skills, and technical knowledge. That’s where FBLA comes in. By becoming a member and taking advantage of what FBLA has to offer. You can learn various skills that will help you in today’s world.

Who can join PBL?
Membership is open to all Ridgeland campus students enrolled in one or more business subjects, including business law, accounting, economics, computers, and Business and Office Technology programs.

What is the main goal of PBL?
The mission of FBLA is to bring business and education together in a positive working relationship through innovative leadership and career development programs. The entire focus is business and leadership development.

Activities:

  1. State and national leadership conferences
  2. Compete in various areas on the state and national levels
  3. Participate in fundraisers
  4. Help organize and/or participate in community service projects
  5. Learn leadership skills, employability skills, networking skills, etc.
