S.T.E.M. Club
The S.T.E.M. ( science, technology, engineering, and mathematics) club here at Holmes allows students to broaden their knowledge on careers and programs in the S.T.E.M. field as well as the history and importance of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics in society.
This club is made up of both S.T.E.M. and non S.T.E.M. majors. At the meetings students participate in things such as trivia and video analysis pertaining to S.T.E.M. subjects as well as the occasional speaker, which in the past has included UMMC Medical School personnel. This is a great opportunity for students to meet like minded people as well as advance their knowledge of the S.T.E.M. and how it plays a vital role in everyday life.
