DISCLOSURES

Good to know

If you pre-register and are then put on Academic suspension, you will be withdrawn from your classes.

If you pre-register for a course and then fail to meet the prerequisite qualifications, you will be administratively removed.

Some colleges do not accept lab-based sciences taken via e-learning. For example, at the University of Mississippi Medical Center, the Pre-Dental, Pre-Pharmacy, and Pre-Medicine programs will not accept lab-based sciences and some mathematics courses taken via eLearning. Please check with the school(s) to which you plan to apply.

MSVCC COURSES

Holmes Community College is part of the Mississippi Virtual Community College (MSVCC), and offers classes via the internet platform that the MSVCC chose: Canvas. You log into the Canvas course site to access course materials, interact with your instructor, interact with other students, etc., in much the same way you do in a traditional course, except everything is electronic.

If the online course you registered for ends in OOH (ex. BOT1273 OOH), you can view your textbook information here.
