Heavy Equipment Training
Holmes Community College is offering a Heavy Equipment program. The Heavy Equipment training, taught by Keith Ware, will consist of 14 weeks of simulated work experience.
The training will consist of
- First Aid/CPR
- Orientation to the Trade
- Heavy Equipment Safety
- Equipment Essentials
- Site Work
Students will learn how to inspect, service, and operate the following:
- Off-road Dump Truck
- Tracked Skid Steer
- Bulldozer
- Track hoe
They will also learn safe and proper operation of Horizontal Directional Drill and Trenching equipment to install underground utilities.
The location of the training is Bulldog Ranch, near our Goodman Campus. Class size is limited.
