Automotive Technology

Automotive Technology may be taught as either a Technical Certificate program, an Advanced Technical Certificate program, or an AAS Degree program. The curriculum for Postsecondary Automotive Technology is based upon the task list published in ASE Certification for Automobile Training Programs and the National Automotive Technicians Education Foundation, Inc. (NATEF). This task list serves as a national standard for certification of automobile technician training programs and is regularly reviewed and validated by technicians and engineers in the automotive industry.
